365/215 Point.

Well I have just got in from a great evening out with Lilly and Lisa, we went to see Wow! Gerry Cottle's Circus.....it was fabulous, one very hairy moment where a trick on the high rope went wrong, the guy seemed to be about to swing on the rope, but he fell off... I thought he was jumping into the big top entrance but he fell and hit himself against the stair frame... but got up and went up again..then I realised he had fallen off the rope!
Later there were some staged hairy bits on the tightrope (when the guy was leapfrogging over the other guy... yeah, you read it right!).. I only know that because Kate told me it happened when she saw it!  I know now why she wants to join the circus, all kinds of girl acts from juggling to hula hooping to cycle stunts but all with an element of acro she has done before..and hey, some of the caravans and mobile homes are pretty exotic, satellite TV and everything!

It was a colourful fun lively show, real people making music and really amazing entertaining acts... no CGI and no computer anything.. .  Not sure if I have a picture promt to suit... ahh yes, what is the point of such a hugebox of popcorn and it filled to the brim... and for that matter what is the point of popcorn and candyfloss and does anyone really like them? ... not jaded questions, more like just questions which came to mind and no-one ever answered... fab night, lively, three generations of us and all rubbed along together ... xx

  3. ha ha, pointLESS popcorn? Personally I love popcorn with salt on, it is filling and has very little calories. (Thereby making it my bestie) but I can't be arsed to make it (quelle surprise) so it usually ends up as a once in a blue moon rip-off treat somewhere! The circus is still a fab piece of entertainment, but the price does somewhat inhibit my enjoyment these days! When did we all get so OLD??!!!

  5. Popcorn has to be butterscotch or toffee and yes I could eat that amount of it. Glad you had a good evening.

  7. Salted for me too, and it is always too much, I think the cinema and circus staff must like clearing it up :)

What a great trip out and so happy you all enjoyed it :) xxx
